Local Food Supports

Dear Families,

In response to pending SNAP Benefit cuts along with other financial stressors our community is facing, please see the information below regarding local food supports that are available.  

Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center Food Pantry/Programs

Open Mon-Fri 9am to 3:30pm.  Proof of address required at the site. Some form of proof regarding children in the home is also requested at the site.  Families can access the pantry once per month.  Families can also sign up for a weekend backpack program where backpacks are distributed weekly on Fridays.  Visit or call during hours of operation for more information.

Contact the Community Resources office (401-377-8069 option 1) to sign up as a client for the pantry.  Families can access the pantry once per month.  The pantry has operating hours Monday thru Saturday.  There is a weekly Powerpack Program where food items for school aged children are available weekly.

Call ahead to register.  Drive up/curbside pick up available Weds morning and evening as well as Fri afternoon.  In store shopping available by appointment on Thursday morning.

St. Vincent De Paul Society (Immaculate Church) Food Pantry
