Sal Augeri Field Fundraising Campaign

The Town of Westerly and Westerly Public Schools, together with the Town Council and the School Committee, have worked together with some generous and insightful businesses and individuals to facilitate the upgrade of Salvatore J. Augeri Field to synthetic turf. This field transformation, executed by FieldTurf (Waterford, CT), has provided our community with one of the best athletic facilities in Rhode Island. Most importantly, the new field offers a safe and reliable playing surface for our many deserving Bulldog teams, including football, soccer, lacrosse, band, cheer, dance, and flag. Final payment of $350,000.00 on this upgraded field is due to FieldTurf no later than July 1, 2024. The chart below shows the total project cost and the funding sources. Please consider a tax-deductible contribution to this worthwhile fundraising campaign. Augeri Field is now a beautiful landmark and source of pride for both Westerly Public Schools and the Town of Westerly.
