Equity Audit Subcommittee

 In 2022 WPS contracted PCG to perform an equity audit of the district. In 2024 the school committee voted to establish a subcommittee to effectively assess district standards, policies and practices to identify opportunities, challenges and potential barriers to providing an equitable environment for all WPS students as outlined in the district's equity statement.

At WPS, equity means that all students are ensured the support, resources, and assistance they need to excel at their full potential. WPS is intentional, purposeful, and strategic about honoring all people because of and regardless of their differences. Simply put, every student gets what every student needs.

We are seeking individuals to join this subcommittee and help us achieve equity and excellence throughout WPS.
